SGA Senior Class Vice President Candidates

SENIOR CLASS VICE PRESIDENT:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Junior Kenneth Stice is a political science and history double major who says that his innovative nature will allow him to “create solutions to problems that students see on campus.” He is involved in various activities and organizations including Alpha Sigma Phi, Honors College, Apha Chi Honor Society, UCA Division I cross country and track team and Friend of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. He has served as a representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and has worked as the SGA junior representative. If elected, Stice hopes to work on the improvement of UCA’s food services with goals of lengthening hours “to accommodate student’s schedules” and creating alternative food services like the La Lola Loca truck on campus last year. He also wants to “help make UCA a more environmentally friendly campus” by improving the Jewel Moore Nature Reserve and Stone Dam Creek. Stice further wishes to increase RSO funding and campus initiatives with SAFA and Speak Up projects.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Junior Jordan Frederking is a public administration and pre-law double major who says her level-headed nature would make her a good candidate for the position. Frederking has been involved in many organizations and communities around campus, including the Panhellenic Council, executive board of Alpha Sigma Tau, Bear Den, 80 Proof, serving as the secretary of Public Administration club, pre-law society and Academic Ambassadors. Her previous experience in Student Government Association consists of serving as the freshman class president. If elected, she plans to collaborate with other senators and work on improving the campus, becoming “a catalyst for change.” She says her effective communication skills and efficient time management are skills she plans to use during her time in office.
