Junior Colby Qualls is a political science and sociology double major and is involved in multiple organizations around campus including I.d.e.a.l. leadership team, Honors Council, Honors Ambassador, Student Government Association, non-SGA member of SGA Diversity Committee and Rent-a-Puppy. He has held leadership positions as SGA sophomore and junior class president, co-curricular chair of Honors Council, Chair of Housing and Food Services committee, Chair of Senate Advancement committee and Chair of Student Fee Advisory Committee. Qualls hopes that the election will allow him to continue his “role as a liaison among students, faculty, staff, and administration.” He has previous experience in evaluating SGA operations of the constitution and by-laws and wants to use his knowledge to uphold the motto of “Students First.” Qualls believes his “introverted nature will be an asset to the Senate in comparison to the predominately extroverted, type-A leaders that generally serve.”
