EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE:
Sophomore Corey Parks is a finance major and is involved in a number of organizations around campus, including Student Government Association, vice president of finance of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Student Orientation Staff, vice president of Finance Club, I.d.e.a.l and Bear Den. Parks says his passion for the university and its students will make him a good senator because he is “willing to do whatever it takes to put our students first.” If elected, he has three goals for next year – implementing education sessions for RSOs to learn about the SAFA process, offering more support for events on campus, and starting an auditing system that “ensures that everyone is abiding by the rules.” He believes that his hard work ethic, budgeting skills and care for the students will make him an ideal “servant leader.”
