Bears Blown Away By Hurricane

The UCA football Bears‘ perfect record ended Saturday night in Tulsa.

The Bears, now 3-1, lost 41-14 to the  Tulsa Golden Hurricane, now 2-2.

It was a tough game for the Bears. They scored a season low 14 points and give up a season high 41 points. The team lost seven starters to injuries, including quarterback Nathan Dick, linebacker Frank Newsome and cornerback Marcus Dumas.

“Give Tulsa credit,” UCA Head Coach Clint Conque told ucasports.com after the game. “I thought they came out very focused.” He was also proud of the way his team played in the second half after losing key starters adding “defensively we played very hard and pretty well.”
