The UCA Bears coaching staff added 16 players to the eight mid-year transfers on signing day Wednesday.
The signing class includes 13 defensive players, 10 offensive players and one special teams player.
Seven players come from Texas, six from Arkansas, four from Kansas, two from Mississippi, two from Alabama, one from Florida, South Carolina and Oklahoma.
The Bears open the 2015 season on the road at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. UCA will play two more road games, one in Stillwater, Oklahoma against Football Subdivision Big 12 opponent Oklahoma State University, then travel to Natchitoches, Louisiana following a week three bye, starting Southland Conference play against Northwestern State University.
The Bears play their first home game Oct. 3 against Abilene Christian University.
