“We have a Hawaiian theme this year with the slogan being, ‘You Had Me At Aloha’,” junior Brittney Jackson said. “There will be five gentlemen competing for various awards, but their main goal is to be crowned Mr. Esquire 2014.”
The following are the contestants in the pageant: senior Xavyier Bolden, junior Kameron Lovelace, junior Silas Nellums, freshman Jalen Smith, and freshman Mardarius Butler.
Mr.Esquire contestants will be judged by their interview, swim wear, talent, and formal wear.
The winner will receive $600.00, first runner up $400.00, and second runner up $150.00. The event is free admission to the public but donations are encouraged.
