The following information was taken from incident reports filed by officers at UCAPD. The reports are made available by university police after they are approved by a supervisor. That process takes a few days, which delays our report. This is a complete report of incidents filed for April 8-9.
April 8:
- Officers responded to shots being fired at Fox Run Apartments on Wednesday at 2:17 a.m. Officers made contact with a witness who said he heard about five gunshots and saw people arguing near building L. Officers noticed a white male walking around the corner of building L. He ran once officers saw him. Officers saw the male and a female enter an apartment. They were identified as nonstudents Kayla Drago, 20, of Conway and Dillon George, 20, of Russellville. Officers found several .380 shell casings near where they first spotted George.
- Student Kristie Hardin, 20, of Conway contacted officers to report that her car had been damaged on Wednesday at approximately 1:35 p.m. Hardin said that she parked her car in the parking lot of the baseball stadium at approximately 8:45 a.m. She noticed damage to the driver’s-side door when she returned to get her car at 1:30 p.m. Officers estimate the damage to be $350.
- Nonstudent Winston Stephens contacted officers to report that his iPhone 4s along with $25 were stolen from him at approximately 8:21 p.m. Stephens said that he put his phone and money underneath a hat in the HPER center while he played basketball.
