They’re occasionally politically incorrect. They’re often witty. They’re always the Whitest Kids U’ Know.
The troupe, consisting of Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Timmy Williams and Darren Trumeter, will be performing live in Reynolds Performance Hall at 8 p.m. today. The Student Activities Board will be hosting the event for UCA and the general public.
The Whitest Kids U’ Know have an extensive comedic resumé. They won the 2006 Best Sketch Group award at the Aspen Comedy Festival, logged over 50 million YouTube views and starred in five seasons of their self-titled television show. The final 2011 season featured installments of their first full-length film, “The Civil War on Drugs,” and the cast is currently working on a second.
Moore and Cregger also co-directed, co-wrote, and co-starred in the 2009 comedy “Miss March,” in which a high school virgin wakes up from a coma to find that his girlfriend is Playboy bunny.
Admission is $10 for general public and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the Reynolds box office, the Student Center information desk or online. The event is intended for mature audiences only. Children under the age of 14 will not be admitted.
