Q: Where are you from?
A: Conway, Arkansas
Q: What are you studying?
A: Double majoring in Spanish and Psychology, with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies
Q: Why did you decide to run for SGA?
A: I served on SGA as a senator last year and saw the enormous positive impact our student government has on our university. I enjoy being an advocate for students whose voices would otherwise go unheard and being a visionary for improvements to our campus.
Q: Do you have any plans for your term?
A: I would like to propose ideas for two new programs on campus. First, a furthering education prep program that will help our students prepare for graduate programs by offering tutoring for the GRE, MCAT, LSAT, and other graduate exams. Second, a night shuttle service that will allow off campus residents to attend evening events on campus or stay late at the library without having to worry about driving to campus and finding a parking spot.
Q: Have you been in a leadership position before?
A: Yes, last year I served as a representative and the Campus Infrastructure Committee chairperson on SGA. I have also held leadership positions within other organizations I am involved in.
Q: What do you do in your off time?
A: I really value community, so most of my free time is spent with friends and family, whether we are doing a fun activity or just something simple like watching a movie. I am also a coffee fanatic, so I like spending time in different coffee shops.
