Night of Distinction
An awards ceremony and gala celebrating the 75th anniversary of Ida Waldran Auditorium at 7 p.m. on May 12 in the HPER Center. Individual tickets are $100. For more information or to purchase event or raffle tickets, students and faculty can go to uca.edu/gala.

“The Alzheimer’s Journey”
A free workshop will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center. Those interested in learning about the dementia process of Alzheimer’s, the affects aging has on the brain and body and the difficult role of caregivers can register to attend online at uca.edu/outreach/free-outreach. The event is open to the public.
CPR Classes
A Healthcare Provider CPR course will provided at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the HPER Center Room 100. Students and faculty who are interested can contact Facilities and Risk Manager Jesse Flack at 470-8700 or jflack@uca.edu. The cost to attend the class is $60. This will be the last CPR class offered this semester.
UCA Film Festival
The UCA Film Festival will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in the Reynolds Performance Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Romeo and Juliet
The Moscow Festival Ballet will perform “Romeo and Juliet” at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night in the Reynolds Performance Hall. Tickets are free for students and $30 to $40 for the general public. The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded under the leadership and vision of legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, Sergei Radchenko.
